This post would actually be about some similarities that have been discovered between Mrs Chua and I.
I was just chatting with Tan Ching about it on Facebook.
Yi Ling: i'm such a weird and random and scary and fussy person
Tan Ching: What ?!? Are you serious. You scary meh
Yi Ling: sometimes.. hahaha
Tan Ching: I think you got mrs Chua character sia. Hahaha
Yi Ling: OMG REALLY.
Tan Ching: Yes.
Yi Ling: HAHA OKAY NEXT TIME I GO TEACH CHEM. in what sense?
Tan Ching: ... I say CHARACTER she is random. Fussy. Sometimes scary. Quite weird. Just like you
And Tan Ching was right!! I found out that I had quite a few things that were alike Mrs Chua.. Gosh. I don't know whether to feel good or bad about that actually. But anyway, both of us agreed to blog about this on our individual blogs. Hahahaa. :D
Some other similarities between PRSS 4E8'2011 and PRSS teachers:
Jin An / Soon Chee Yong = Mr Kaddy Koh
Yu Fang = Mdm Nisa
Glenn = Mr Neo (4E7 E Maths teacher)
These are really random things that Tan Ching and I concluded... Hahahah. :D

Anyway just some holiday rants..
Once again, undoubtedly, there is a LOT of homework. On top of PW, there are still tons of assignments and tutorials to complete. Especially Chem. It seems like MJ's Chem Dept likes to bomb us with lots of holiday homework. And that Physics HELP Package. Well, Maths is not that bad I think.. Econs -- E-Learning on a small section of Market Failure. Chinese - zuo wen. Most importantly, preparation for MYE!!!!
This is weird. After I've typed and thought through about my pile of homework, it doesn't seem that much.. Duno why. But after I publish this post, my mind will start to tell me that there's alot to accomplish.
PW has been alright I guess, apart from the fact that my PW teacher, who happens to be my CT and my Maths teacher, has been absent for about 2 weeks..? Which means that my PW GPP is at stake because we do not have anyone to consult as my PW teacher has not attended lecture and does not really know what she needs to do. Plus, she's not part of the PW Comm which means that we're at greater stake than ever. I guess we just have to rely on ourselves this time round..

SPAKE! 2012 CIP was fun. Interesting. Learnt a thing or two about volleyball, although I still cannot play the sport well. But doesn't matter. Hope to take part in more of such events organised by SSYEC! :)

Looking forward to meeting up with 4E8 (esp. my close friends!) and Lee Boon during the holidays!! :D

Recently, I discovered that books are great places to seek refuge from the daily hectic life that one has. Especially so for me. Over the past few months, I've been loaning books from my brother, not the National Library (coz my bro has a lot of books), to read. I find great pleasure in reading, and personally I'm not sure why. I guess reading is just a great escape from my present life, and indulge yourself in a life that does not belong to yours, a life which is full of wonder and adventure. And once I put down a book, either because I've completed reading it or because it's time to do other stuffs, I become reluctant and end up procrastinating about my tasks, which is a bad thing actually. But my point is, I think I'll always need a book to read to seek some form of relaxation all the time. My life seems 'purpose-less' without books, really. I find life boring and the days become difficult to pass. I don't know why. It has never happened to me before... I guess it is a good thing that I picked up reading again - one of my greatest hobbies that I had when I was young, but 'abandoned' it as I grew older, and found it again.. :)

Hopefully, this will be a productive holiday. 1 week of holiday lectures have passed. It's time that I really buck up and catch up with all the things I have not completed, e.g. tutorials, TYS, booklets etc. Haiz. As with most holidays, this will not be a very fun holiday, but nevertheless, it is a good break for me to recharge (I wouldn't say 'relax') and catch up with what I have not been doing all this while.. Have a great June holidays, people! :)
Bye,
Yi Ling :D
