you know what?
I just went for a run at the canal near my house.
And I think I nearly died running halfway. LOL.
My stamina has dropped like way so low.. like omg lah. -.-
I didn't time myself this time, but I could sense that I was taking a long long time to finish the run.. And so, I ended up walking... -.-''
And Mummy said she was going to meet me at the canal, but when I reached home, I saw her napping in bed. Fail. Lols.

Yesterday, I discovered something. -wahhhhh- (lols)
I realise why I actually prefer going on MSN than calling people up.
Firstly, (okay this sounds like.. an exposition) it's more convenient. Why do I say that? Because, say you have some stuff you want to ask a friend. And it's some important stuff like homework or project. So, you call up your friend to clarify doubts etc. However, it being a homework/project, it is impossible not to meet with some kind of an obstacle or doubt that needs immediate clarification. So you call up your friend again. And then this cycle will repeat itself throughout the whole course of that project/homework. Your friend will get so frustrated and eventually ignore you or otherwise. Compared to using MSN, you can conveniently send an instant message to a friend and get an immediate response. Even if that friend happens to be 'Busy', you could ask other friends on your contact list. So this is actually very useful.
Secondly, if you have a project to do with a friend whom you are not close with, it is usually preferred to discuss online than call each other up. This actually avoids the awkwardness when you actually call up that friend. Also, if it happens to be group work, like a group of three, you would have to start a conference and everything. And personally, I don't really like conferences, because it gets difficult to hear each other out sometimes. Besides, i'm the sort of person who can't really multitask that well, so I can't be listening to someone talk and doing my own stuff at the same time. And I have no idea why, I also feel like somewhat pressurized when someone on the other line is waiting for my answer/response. Although sometimes actually it may differ in cases whereby it's a large-scale project or stuff like that, but well, most of the time it does work okay. Calling up a friend whom you don't really know that well could really get awkward sometimes. And this reminds me of the phone conversation that Yu Fang had with Mrs Chua. Hahahaha. LOL xD (if you get what I mean..)
Thirdly, going on MSN may help to save money. Compared to calling a friend repeatedly, again and again, why not go on MSN and ask your friends. I don't know if this may sound a bit exaggerated, but I think the phone bills may turn out costing more than the electrical bills you pay for using the computer to go on MSN. Besides, if you use the computer, you could also do other stuff than MSN-ing, like researching or whatsoever. It's more worth the cost I think.
However, parents nowadays don't understand the kind of projects and homework that we, as students, have. We have to keep in contact with each other. So most parents, well, maybe only my parents, will rebutt that "you can just call up your friend and clarify things. You don't have to keep using the computer, asking through MSN or even Facebook." But hey, back to my previous point, would you rather that I call up my friends over and over again than I ask my friends through MSN/Facebook while doing other stuff?
Okay so anyway, if you had realised, I was kind of venting my anger at the same time.. Though I know it may sound illogical and all that, but it sounds logical to me. Haha. Anyway, if you have any opinions with regard to the above issue, please feel free to voice them out. :) I won't hate you or whatever, I just hope that parents can sometimes understand the thoughts of us, as children and students.
