so I shall post about my Metta trip that was nearly two weeks ago. 29th Nov.

Met Faith and Yunfei at Bedok MRT.

apparently I was the last to arrive despite thinking that I had left home early -.-

so took bus 28 and then walked to the Student Care centre.

when we first arrived, it was pretty chaotic and noisy.

got briefed and everything. then it was about time to leave for Metta School.

Faith and Yunfei were the overall in charge for group A, while I was overall in charge for group B. Faith was also in charge of handling this hyper-active boy, called Leslie. Group A consisted of lower primary students, while Group B consisted of mainly upper primary students, which were obviously easier to handle with :)

There were quite a number of activities we did there.

When we arrived at Metta School, Group B was required to prepare lunch for everybody while Group A was learning to bake cookies.

Altho it may sound chim, like you know, preparing lunch, like such a major task, but actually it isn't, because the students only needed to pluck bean sprouts. -.- it kinda exercised their discipline in doing so. the cooking was actually done by their teacher, Mdm Lucy.

Anyway, during that period of time while the teacher was cooking, I felt rather unwell because I skipped breakfast, but luckily I manage to make it till lunch.

Lunch was fried kway teow, pretty good :)

So after lunch, I was asked to meet this trainer, Mdm Li, to prepare for the next session that the students were going to attend.

I was required to help in the baking of cupcakes, which I didn't really get to see the whole process of baking as I was still lunching away. lol.

The cupcakes were supposed to be baked beforehand as the activity that group B was having was Cupcake Decoration. Not cucpake baking.. -.- which was rather disappointing to both the students and I. because i thought Mdm Li met me beforehand to let me have a slight grasp of what we were going to do -.-

anyway, ya, so we did cupcake decoration, with me watching and disciplining them do it.

I did take some pictures of their cupcakes, but I can't upload them today as my handphone is not with me... So next time bah.

Meanwhile, group A was preparing for Tea Break. They made sandwiches.

I thought it tasted okay, but Faith and Yunfei said they didn't have any appetite after watching the process of making it. I guess it was rather gross, but since it didn't taste weird to me, I continued eating away.

After tea break, we headed to the Sports Hall for a game session.

The games were organised by the students themselves and we watched them play.

Some of them were rather cute when it came to skipping... haha :)

So after the game session, we headed back to Metta Student Care Centre and then back home.

Well, I enjoyed this session with the Metta kids. Although they may be rowdy and stuff like that, and I have no idea why, but I seem to prefer them more than the Pro Teach kids. Haha, bias or what. lols. I wouldn't mind to have another session with the Metta kids, really :) but it was probably because it was an excursion that's why I enjoyed it, haha :)

So, i've been trying to really sit down and do some serious work these days, but it always fails, zzz -.-

Sometimes I really hate myself for not being able to discipline myself, no different than a little kid.

On the morning of 19th December 2010, I'll be on a Qantas plane to Perth, Australia :D

Does anybody want to send me off? Hahaha. Lol.

I'll be back on 26th December 2010, which is exactly the reason why I need to finish up all my homework within this week if possible. And considering the fact that today is Thursday and the week is coming to an end, it seems impossible. And, I still have to revise for Common Test 2011, which I totally haven't started at all. And, there's still O Level SPA coming next January. -.- i'm like so damn screwed yet un-motivated can. zzz.

8. Phy WB ; some qns duno how to do, not gonna bother myself with it, so actually it can be considered done already, but for the sake of motivating myself, i'll mark it as undone

9. Chemistry PBL

10. Chemistry TYS

11. Chemistry WB

12. Chemistry self-study on Ammonia and Air

... and the list may go on, with Chemistry as the bulk of homework, and it's tedious to complete them, and the Gmail which I wish our class never had ...
