I've been reading a lot of Thought Catalog lately. Hahaha. Some articles are really interesting, while some are a little strange, though.
Enough of Thought Catalog, so far life has been pretty good I suppose.
We took some 15 days to finish painting the entire house - yes, from the living room to the kitchen to bedrooms and the exterior too. It was really satisfying at the end of it all despite the exhaustion and irritation of having to deal with dust and dirt all over yourself. We also reordered the furniture and got rid of old furniture at home without actually buying any furniture (except for a few plastic boxes). I would say that it was a fruitful experience, and everyone should at least get a chance to paint their house on their own for at least once in their lives. You really learn - not just the technical skills and ability, but also bond with those whom you've been painting (which usually are your family members). Pictures will obviously not be uploaded here because it's strange to be showing the rest of the world what my house looks like right.. It's almost like inviting trouble for myself.
Other than painting my house, I've also been on a cruise with my relatives (mainly aunts and cousins). It was a 3-day 2-night cruise on Superstar Virgo. It was my first time on a cruise. Main activities: eating, sleeping, touring/exploring, swimming, singing, visiting the casino, window shopping, taking pictures, watching performances. That's more or less about it. Hahaha. It was pretty okay I guess haha. But, I had trouble sleeping at night 'coz I was actually sharing a room with one of my aunts and my grandfather who kept snoring away at night, which disrupted my sleep. Other than that, I think the entire trip went pretty smoothly :) The service provided by the friendly staff was satisfactory too! I guess I would go on another cruise trip if given the chance, but hopefully with more activities that I can participate in freely, and also with my family or friends. :)
I'll also be going on an MOE internship at BNSS for about 2 months. Hopefully things will turn out fine :) I won't be revealing too much about this.. if you're interested to know, ask me personally.
Finally, although this is reaaaaally belated - Happy New Year to everyone! Hopefully 2014 will be a better year for all :) Oh, just reminded that my mum always forces us to write some New Year's Resolutions every year.. this year she remembered but didn't pursue too much into getting us to write it.. Probably I'll type it out here then:
1// Take care of my health i.e. getting sufficient rest/sleep, eyesight (hopefully not getting worse)
2// Be grateful for my loved ones
3// Stay connected in my relationships
4// Improve my grades (no matter where I get to)
5// Being a better photographer (like really random but ya..)
6// Be less judgmental and more sensitive to others.
7// Be more outspoken.
8// Be a better (yes I know it's a very general word) daughter, sibling, friend, or whatever I am to you.
9// Time management i.e. less procrastination.
10// Be courageous. Be bold.
I could probably go on and on.. But I guess that's what I can think of from the top of my head so far. I don't know how often I'm going to blog in 2014. Actually I might have more time to myself.. Who knows. Anyway, I don't have much to share right now. That's all ba.
Thanks for reading and bye! :)
